Capella University

Being a family caregiver to a retired soldier, few things impressed me about Capella University as much as my discover that more than 15% of Capella's more than 17,900 students are affiliated with the Department of Defense.

Students like PhD student Carla Chladek, who is pursuing a master’s degree in education at Capella. Chladek is a Program Manager for the Joint Staff Training Program at the Pentagon and is responsible for ensuring that the training needs are met for the 2,000 military members who support the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

If you want to find out more about capella university I recommend looking at their podcasts "Inside Online Education". You can find these podcasts at the Capella University website at capella.edu or capellacommons.com, or you can get them via RSS or by subscription from iTunes.

The podcasts are a regular feature and have interviews with Capella students, faculty and staff who share the experience of online education. Presented in a first-person point of view these roughly 15 minute long podcasts are a great way to learn more about Capella University and online education.
