Cleaning office

Most of today is going to be spent cleaning my office so I can get away from the television in the front room.  I'm not sure just how it is that a mess can creep up so quickly.  You don't even see it coming and then you turn around one day and you can no longer get in the door of your office.  This has happened to me.  It seems that anything that no one knows where it belongs inevitably gets tucked into my office, probably because my office is the room that has the basement stairs in it.  Whatever the reason, I know that nothing ever seems to find its way back out of the office, so that is today's task.  I have been writing at the kitchen table rather than clean the office, and that needs to stop.  If for no other reason than so I can escape the television noise from the frontroom.  My dad has just enough hearing loss that he keeps the television turned up to about 18 (out of about 50) - too loud for me, who listens to it (when I can get to watch it) at a setting of about 6 or 9.  So, I'm off to clean now.  Will update this later if I get the time to work on Family C.A.R.E. research today.
