Student at Capella University Receives 2006 FBI Director's Community Leadership Award
In February the Knoxville Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation presented the FBI Director's Community Leadership Award to Tammy Alexander for her significant contributions to cyber security, Infragard, and the law enforcement community.
A master's degree student at capella university, Alexander is studying education with an emphasis on enrollment management. As the director for information assurance and cyber security training at Fountainhead College of Technology in Knoxville, Tenn., Alexander's responsibilities include developing and conducting cyber security awareness lectures and workshops. She is also Vice President on the Board of Advisors for the Infragard Knoxville Members Alliance, a FBI program that aims to improve and extend information sharing between private industry and the government, particularly the FBI, when it comes to critical national infrastructures.
