Fight for family caregivers to get support they need

Why is it that with the known for-profit goals of most nursing homes there is little assistance for family caregivers to help care for the elderly and those needing long term care at home? Nursing homes have been proven to be understaffed and neglectful of the people that have been placed in their care. We need to get more laws passed for family caregivers to support them in their efforts and get the care of our loved ones back in the home and away from those who are only interested in how much money they can make from the needs of the elderly.
