Physical Therapy: Range of Motion
The volume on this is really really soft, so you will need to turn up your computer sound to hear what she is saying. These arm circle exercises are part of the range of motion part of physical therapy and will help to keep the shoulder joints in good condition for dressing and bating and other tasks. If the care recipient is paralyzed on one side you can gently move the arm for them, to keep the shoulder joint from locking up, just be careful and consult a physical therapist on the proper procedure before you try.
