Fire destroys home of Sir Richard Branson

I was reading an article at CNN about how lightning sparked a fire that destroyed the Caribbean island home of Sir Richard Branson.The article mentioned that amoung some 20 guests at the home at the time of the fire was actress Kate Winslet, who was mentioned in an e-mailed statement by Branson:

"Many thanks to Kate Winslet for helping carry my 90-year(-old) mum out of the main house to safety."

 I feel awful for Sir Branson and his mother that the home was destroyed, but I also feel exceptionally proud of Winslet for having assisted Branson in assuring the safety of his elderly mother.
