My dad's new glasses

We went into town the other day and picked up my dad's new glasses. They look good, but I think he was hoping they would help him see better than they do. His stroke left him with splotches in his vision on the left side, so it's impossible for him to read or see that way very well. I wish there was something that could be done to correct the black spots in his vision, but apparently the optometrist he went to don't know about it if there is.
