Social Security Caregiver Credit Act of 2007 still in Subcommittee on Social Security

Well, it should be no surprise that H.R. 1161: Social Security Caregiver Credit Act of 2007, is *still* sitting in the House Ways and Means, Subcommittee on Social Security. It went in there on March 7, 2007 and has sat there since. They plan to let it die out like the other family caregiver bills they have had fall into their laps. Really really not good given everything that the family caregivers do in this country and all the money we save everyone on long term care insurance and senior care housing and everything else. We should have at least a little help somewhere, shouldn't we?
