Power Glove Heart Rate Monitor

Check this out! It is a glove that monitors heart rate for exercising. Now, while this thing has so-so reviews for use as an exercise tool, I am thinking it might work good as a way to keep tabs on a care recipient's heart rate.

You can get these for men or women, or save buy buying one of each.

Situations where you have a normally bed resting or low exercise care recipient out on a excursion or something and want to keep an eye on their heart rate for how they are faring on the outing maybe?

I'm sure that anyone that has a need for monitoring their or a care recipient's heart rate has already come up with a lot of other reasons, so I'll just hush up and go find something else to look at. Just figured I would call this to you all's attention.

Better View of Angled Measure Cups

Well, mean old Blogger won't let me add a picture to that last post for some reason, so here is a better view of those measuring cups.

Angled Measure Cups are a great idea for seniors

I hate to have to crouch down to see where the level in my measuring cup is, even thinking a few times to put a small shelf at eye level to cure the problem. I just found the perfect solution though, and can see where it would be perfect for anyone that has trouble bending down to check the measure or that has a problem holding a measure cup steady to lift it and check it.

The angled measuring cup allows you to read them from above. You can buy a set of three from Amazon for under $20 (4 cup, 2 cup and 1 cup measures), or just buy a single one if all you need is a one cup measure, they're under $6 at Amazon.

Bonus I like is the easy grip handle, making it even better for or anyone that might have trouble gripping the handle on the cup.

They are plastic and dishwasher safe, they are not intended for microwave use.
